Sinisa Mihajlovic roars. The Rossoneri coach sounded extremely confident in a press conference for what could be 2016 for his Milan side. After the convincing victory against Frosinone, the ‘Diavolo’ resumed its march in the standings towards the much-desired return to Europe in spite of the numerous criticisms that have rained on the Serbian coach in recent months: “There is a proverb that says ‘A lion does not lose sleep over the opinion of a sheep, the lion eats it,'” the former Samp coach’s piqued retort.
“We are superior to Bologna, we had to learn not to mistake attitude and underestimate opponents. We can play with everyone, although the matches after the break are always tricky. I am sure that this 2016 can be the good year, if we pass the next three matches against Bologna, Roma and Carpi we can turn around and think positively about the return leg,” the former Blucerchiato added.
As far as the market is concerned, no demands have been made on the club: “Berlusconi has already given me the gift of being able to coach Milan, we have already taken Boateng, then Balotelli and Menez will return. Then we will see what will happen. Mario has to recover his condition, he can come back by mid- or late January. The same goes for Menez, we evaluate day by day. We stayed in Milanello because we can train better.”
The only certain arrival will be that of Kevin Prince Boateng: “He came for 4-5 months to train, we wanted to test his physical condition because he had knee problems, but he always performed well, we decided with the club to confirm him.His problem was only physical, but in these 5 months he never missed a training session,” Mihajlovic then concluded.
