Mihajlovic: "Now comes the fun"

Three points to keep hoping. And three games to figure out what the end of the season will be. At the end of the painful victory against Torino, Sinisa Mihajlovic aligns himself with what Ignazio Abate said.
Satisfaction with the new success, but we need to keep pedaling: “In the first 8 games of the first leg we scored 10 points, now we are at 18. We are growing, now we think about the Coppa Italia, we want the final, then there will be three games to see if we can fight for third place,” the words of the Rossoneri coach to Premium Sport.
The one against the granata was certainly not the team’s best game on a technical level, but Mihajlovic knew it would go like this: “We knew it would be a difficult match. We suffered too much in the final, but I liked the boys’ desire to sacrifice and fight until the end, I think the victory is deserved. Toro came very closed, these matches are always difficult to unlock.”
The team complied to the letter with what the coach asked: “We had prepared it this way, with the forwards and Honda pressing their defenders Bertolacci on Vives to keep them from playing and the outsides high. We stole some balls that could have been exploited better.”
Mihajlovic absolves Bacca and Niang (“They did well, they sacrificed and fought, it’s only with this attitude that you win”) and talks about why the turnaround.
“The secret of this team’s transformation? You have to be calm, have confidence in your own work and that of the boys. I knew that with commitment and hard work we would solve the problems: I am happy for the boys who deserve satisfaction after a few years that did not go well.”
