Ledesma stays with Spalletti

On the field, Cristian Ledesma and Francesco Totti have been great rivals for years. The former is the former Lazio captain, while the latter is Roma’s historic flag bearer, the player who more than any other embodies the Giallorossi soul of the Capitoline formation.
Many have intervened in recent days on the Totti-Spalletti affair and, almost all of them, have sided with the ‘Pupone’. One voice out of the chorus, however, there is, and it is precisely that of the Argentine.
“I am not inside the Roma environment so I cannot give a complete opinion. All I’m saying is that I’m always on the side of those who think the team comes first. Spalletti is a very good coach and the results prove him right,” the former Biancoceleste captain’s words to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’.
Ledesma also spoke about his possible return to Serie A: “At the moment there have not yet been any concrete opportunities. However, I train every day, I still feel like a footballer. I am ready to return to Italy,” he added.
