It’s about time. The start of the 2016 Formula 1 championship is getting closer and closer. In Melbourne, Australia, the first Grand Prix of the season will kick off next weekend, and the two Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen want to try to interrupt Mercedes’ dominance and bring the ‘Cavallino’ back to the roof of the world.

The German driver wanted to greet Ferrari fans with a letter in Italian published on his official website.
“Hi Guys. I hope everything is okay from you in Italy! My Italian isn´t perfect, but I´m trying to learn more and more…The Barcelona tests went well…there´s always a little something to improve, but we´re on the right track and we hope from Melbourne to do well, very well…In any case, I can´t wait to leave for “down under”.
It is always a pleasure to start the world championship in Australia. Melbourne is a beautiful city, young and very sporty. There is always a good atmosphere. Also there are a lot of Ferrari fans who come to the circuit to support us, they even come from Asia which is not very far from Australia. Yes, as a driver this is really a GP all to enjoy!
.
A big hello to all of you, see you very soon…
Sebastian,” it reads.
