Procter and Gamble, in anticipation of accompanying Gregorio Paltrinieri and his mom Lorena to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games with its “Thank you from the heart, Mom” initiative, is launching a solidarity relay race in favor of the children of Make-A-Wish Italia, the non-profit organization that has been working nationwide since 2004 to fulfill the wishes of sick children and youth.
Until May 12, 2016, for every message of thanks to one’s mother (photo, video, or just text) shared on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) accompanied by the hashtag #ThanksOfHeartMom, Procter and Gamble will donate 1 Euro to Make-A-Wish Italia Onlus, so that more and more children can make their wishes come true. It is possible to “make nominations” to increase the spread of the message and boost the relay mechanism.
A project that has already warmed the hearts of many social network lovers: VIPs and non VIPs. First among them all: Gregorio Paltrinieri, who kicked off the solidarity word of mouth by posting a snap in which he clutches in his hands a white poster with the words “Thank you from the heart, Mom,” inviting with a tag also Emma Marrone and Paolo Ruffini to do the same. Artists who immediately joined in, sharing a special thought for their mothers and inviting so many other friends and colleagues to join them, such as: Syria, Antonino, Elisa Toffoli, La Pina, Paola Turci, Alessia Marcuzzi, Alessandro Borghi, Caterina Balivo, Chiara Giordano, Giulio Berruti, Alessandro Tersigni, Fabio Troiano, Rocio Muñoz Morales.
After all: what better occasion than the month dedicated to Mother’s Day, which will be celebrated on Sunday, May 8, to dedicate a message of gratitude and affection to her? And if the message of love for one’s mother will also bring a smile to many sick children, it will be even better!
