Moto2: Zarco precedes super Morbidelli

Pole and win. Johann Zarco dominates the Austrian GP, strengthening his lead at the top of the world championship standings. On the Zeltweg circuit, the French rider of the Kalex was good at recovering from a bad start, which after the first laps had seen him relegated to 6th place. The best cue from the grid had in fact been Franco Morbidelli, who started second, the best result of his career.
Zarco’s comeback, however, was irresistible, albeit gradual: Marquez, Schrotter and Luthi surrendered in sequence, while the last overtake was made right on Morbidelli with 9 laps to go.
Zarco took the lead taking his fifth win of the season, while for the other steps of the podium the fight was spectacular.
Overtaken by Luthi, Morbidelli placed the counter-overtaking at turn 9 on the third last lap centering an excellent second place. For third place Rins burned Luthi himself. In the rear the other Italians: retired Corsi.
