Jorge Lorenzo: "Small steps forward"

Jorge Lorenzo tries to see the glass half-full at the end of the Austin Gp, which saw him finish the race in ninth position riding his Ducati.

“All in all, the race went better than I expected, at least in terms of my pace compared to practice,” said the Mallorcan rider. “We definitely can’t be satisfied with the final position, because we definitely have other objectives, but in terms of sensations and speed, we took a small step forward in this race.

Then a focus on the race: “It went more or less as I expected until the front tire started to have graining and I lost sight of Dovizioso. Without this problem I could have gotten further ahead.”
