Semplici won’t budge on Kurtic’s future

After the pre-Christmas feat against Torino, Spal resumes its march in the league by hosting Verona in what coach Semplici called a challenge for “potential” salvation.
“It will be a very tough match, not decisive, but very important,” the Tuscan coach said in a press conference. “We must try to win at all costs even though we will face an opponent that has done very well so far, but if they lose everything will be called into question. We must continue on the path taken in Turin, with that determination and spirit that allowed us to overturn the result.”
Semplici then glossed over rumors about Jasmin Kurtic’s possible move to Parma: “The player is available, he trained hard during the week. It will be up to me to decide whether to deploy him, but only for technical matters.”
