Honda in chaos: Marc Marquez’s move
Puig reveals that Marc Marquez, stationary after arm surgery, will try to be present during GPs to figure out how to develop the bike
Honda experienced its blackest day in the premier class in 40 years in Germany. After winning continuously at the Sachsenring since 2010, the Japanese stable orphaned by Marc Marquez ended the last Grand Prix without points, an event that has never happened since 1982.
HRC team principal Alberto Puig made no secret to Motorsport: “I don’t know about statistics, I just know that we are not in the right position, and we have to change everything. We are Honda and we have done it many times in the past.”
Marc Marquez, out of action after arm surgery, may show up during GPs to figure out how to develop the bike: “I talked to Marc, the arm is making progress. They are sure he will show up soon to understand what is happening firsthand, to understand how we are trying to improve the bike.”
