MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia overwhelmed by criticism: Ducati’s response
Pecco Bagnaia in fans’ crosshairs for new mistake: but the team is with him
The new mistake in Germany effectively bars Pecco Bagnaia’s path to this year’s title: recovering 91 points from Fabio Quartararo in the second half of the season now seems impossible. The Ducati centaur initially in shock at the fall had complained of rear-end problems, then telemetry data clarified the Piedmontese rider’s mistake, now out of the running at just halfway through the world championship.
Bagnaia ended up under accusation from fans and insiders, but the team remains fully on his side: “Pecco at this time should absolutely be defended, he is giving great satisfaction, some mistakes he made others we made. The great thing about our relationship is that we are one -these are the words of Davide Tardozzi to Sky-. Who made the mistake and if there was a mistake it is now in the past. Ducati at the moment is competitive, it just needs to fine-tune some things and from a super fast rider it will become the champion it is.”
