Camila Giorgi overwhelming, is in semifinals: ‘I’m having fun’
Macerata tennis player Camila Giorgi bent Bulgarian Tomova in two sets
Camila Giorgi qualified for the semifinals of the Eastbourne WTA tournament thanks to a stunning victory over Bulgarian Viktorija Tomova, folding in two sets 6-2, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.
The Italian tennis player played a perfect match and left her rival no chance, getting more than 80 percent of her points with her first serve. A clear message to her opponents ahead of the rest of the tournament and Wimbledon, which kicks off in a week.
“I’m really very happy to be back in the semifinals-these are the words of the Macerata woman reported by Gazzetta dello Sport. I really played a very good match, I felt good, here is always a good place for me, I enjoy it. Unlike yesterday my serve also worked well, this is important, but in general I was more consistent in the game, on court, compared to the other matches played.”
