Serie A calendar, derbies possible as early as August

The 2022-2023 Serie A TIM calendar will be unveiled tomorrow, June 24, at 12 noon. The days that will make up the upcoming season will be unveiled live on Dazn and Lega Serie A’s YouTube channel.
Below are the constraints and criteria that will be respected in the compilation of the calendar of Serie A TIM, which also this season will present the matches of the return leg in a different order, both as a sequence and as a composition within a day, compared to the first leg:
there is an absolute alternation of home and away matches for the following pairs of clubs:
EMPOLI-FIORENTINA
INTER-MILAN
JUVENTUS-TORINO
LAZIO-ROMA
NAPLES-SALERNITANA
– a match will not have its own return before 8 other matches have been played;
– no clashes between Milan, Inter Milan, Naples, Juventus, Lazio, Rome and Fiorentina can be scheduled in midweek rounds;
– no derbies are scheduled in midweek and first day rounds;
clubs participating in the UEFA Champions League (Milan, Inter, Napoli, Juventus) do not meet clubs participating in the UEFA Europa League (Lazio and Roma) and clubs participating in the UEFA Conference League (Fiorentina) on league days between two consecutive European Cup rounds;
– in all cases where this has been possible, situations of unavailability of the field and/or concurrence with other city events of special importance have been taken into account.
