Decisive days for the Rooster’s future
Gallinari’s future is still shrouded in mystery. However, soon, the Blue will know his fate. The Atlanta Hawks are about to make their decision, i.e., confirm him for next year (at $21 million) or release him (paying $5 million).
Should he become a free agent, Gallinari, class of 1988, will await offers from other NBA franchises (there has been talk of interest from the Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors). Olimpia Milano, in one way or another, will try to convince him to return to play in Italy with the Biancorossi jersey. A summer dream that has not yet faded.
