MotoGp, Gresini Racing: riders chosen for 2023
Enea Bastianini will be in official Ducati or Pramac
Team Gresini Racing has made official its pair of riders for 2023 in MotoGp: Fabio Di Giannantonio and Alex Marquez. The former has been confirmed, while the Spaniard will arrive from Honda.
Alex Marquez, who won the World Championship in Moto3 in 2014 and in Moto2 in 2019 before moving to MotoGp, will replace Enea Bastianini, who is headed for the factory Ducati in the in-house team or Pramac. Di Giannantonio is confirmed after good results already achieved in 2022, such as a pole at Mugello.
Happy with this choice the owner of the team, Nadia Padovani Gresini: “I am very happy with this new project. We are confirming Fabio Di Giannantonio, who has already shown his talent this year,” she said. At his side we were looking for a slightly more experienced rider and I think Alex Marquez is the perfect figure.
