Sofia Goggia ready to start again: not only skiing among her plans
The vacation of the champion from Bergamo draws to a close.
Sofia Goggia, with ‘Il Mattino’, spoke about her vacation weekend in Naples, the last days of real relaxation before starting training again ahead of the upcoming alpine skiing season.
Among the topics discussed was a goal that has little to do with racing on the snow, but which the champion from Bergamo considers very important: “Just today I have a university exam in Rome,” said Goggia, who is studying political science. I will stop there on my way back from Naples, then return home.”
The months of July and August will be crucial to get into perfect shape ahead of September, when ski training will resume. “I will work first a little in the gym, there will be to recover my breath and work on the athletic part,” she said. “Then we will go skiing again. There are no short-term goals, so the goal for me is to get back to feeling good and be prepared. I would like to arrive in September ready with compact and solid legs.”
