Stan Wawrinka won’t rest after Jannik Sinner
The Swiss tennis player: “I could have done much better against Sinner.”
Stan Wawrinka, defeated by Jannik Sinner in the first round of Wimbledon, bitterly commented on the loss against the South Tyrolean, not hiding that he had some regrets: “I’m disappointed with the way I played, because in practice I did and pushed a lot more, honestly I expected more after the last few days. At the end of the match I was frustrated.”
The 37-year-old Swiss tennis player is trying to regain his best form to take some more satisfaction after winning three career Slams: “I have to keep working, my goal is to gain confidence and I undoubtedly need victories to get unstuck and make that happen. I have to stay positive and keep training hard.”
