Ferrari already has a plan ahead of Silverstone.

After the good signs in Montreal, the Cavallino is aiming for a definitive relaunch at the British Grand Prix. Precisely for this reason in Maranello, work is already at the highest level ahead of the next round of the championship. And in Ferrari they have already figured out what strategy to adopt to try to get the best possible result from the Silverstone weekend.

This is clear from the words of race strategist Ravin Jain, who spoke about the upcoming Grand Prix on the Scuderia’s official channels. “Silverstone is an extremely technical and fast track, characterized above all by very fast changes of direction. The many fast corners and lack of slow sections make this track very demanding for the tires and low stress for the brakes,” he said.

And it is precisely tire management that will be crucial on Sunday. “We expect that, as always, degradation can play a relevant role in the economy of the race by determining the number of stops there will be on Sunday,” said the Ferrari strategist. Jain also mentioned how less time is lost at Silverstone than elsewhere to enter the pit lane.

“And the two DRS zones favor overtaking: that is also why it is likely to expect different strategic scenarios in the race,” he concluded. Reason why next weekend we might see a particularly aggressive Ferrari between track and wall.
