The new idea to strengthen the Blucerchiato midfield is indeed Marko Rog, a player who has been approached by the Genoa club before. Given Cagliari’s relegation to Serie B, it could be a great opportunity for the Croatian to play in Serie A again this year.
Despite the serious injuries he suffered during last season, concerning the rupture of his cruciate, the class of ’95 has shown in his last appearances in the rossoblù jersey that he can contribute and that he is ready to stay in the top Italian soccer league.
