Pressure is mounting against Mattia Binotto after the Ferrari team’s new mistake in Hungary. Former German driver Ralf Schumacher is among the fiercest critics: “By now I see a very unlikely comeback, especially since Ferrari is self-destructing between wrong pit stops and strategies. Sunday in Hungary was very bitter for them, and especially I see Leclerc a bit tried. Setbacks like those at Paul Ricard and the Hungaroring are hard to bear, and for four weeks he will have to wait, without being able to make up for it on the track.”

According to Ralf Schumacher, Mattia Binotto himself would be in the balance: “There will be added media pressure coming from Italy, and for me his job is in jeopardy.
