Here’s a former Cantù

Kleb Basket has announced that it has signed Maurizio Tassone for the 2022/2023 sports season. Guard/playmaker, class of 1990, 192 centimeters for 92 kilograms, the new Biancazzurro player is back from his experience in Serie B in Molfetta, closed with more than 10 points and just under 3 assists per contest, in 35′ of average play. In the 18 games on Apulian soil, he produced 34 percent on the outside shot, before being aggregated for training in Sassari. Growing up in Cus Torino, Tassone played, besides Cus, in Pavia (from 2013 to 2015), PMS Torino (from 2015 to 2017), Cantù (from 2017 to 2019), before a brief experience in Corato, appetizer of the 2020/21 season in Vigevano, before landing in Molfetta. Now begins the adventure at Kleb.

“I am very happy to start this new adventure, also because I am arriving in a historical basketball square: a reason of pride and responsibility. Happy and charged to be able to start in this important square, which gives stimuli. The team? Nice mix between those who know this category, like Amici, Campani and Bellan, and a number of young people who have a great desire to emerge. At the technical-tactical level I can cover the three roles of the outfielders, the idea, in agreement with coach Leka, is to go and play where the moment of the competition requires. My pliability on multiple roles has always been my main characteristic. I really like that the team has that pliability and different solutions as well,” revealed the new player of the Emilia club.

“Tassone arrives in Ferrara highly motivated, he has important qualities for us, such as shooting from the outside and a good pass to the best positioned teammate on the court. He defends on the best opposing guards. Better we could not find at this time, so we are happy about that,” said coach Spiro Leka.
