He was 73 years old, former goalkeeper and longtime Carlo Ancelotti collaborator Villiam Vecchi, who died Wednesday at a hospital in Reggio Emilia.
In his career he played with AC Milan, winning the Champions Cup, Cup Winners’ Cup and Scudetto for the Rossoneri, Cagliari, Como and Spal, collecting a variety of appearances in both the top and cadetta leagues. He was later at Ancelotti’s side in the Emilian coach’s many adventures, even far from Italy.
