Agreement between the Mooney VR46 Racing Team and Fantic

Agreement signed between the Mooney VR46 Racing Team and Fantic to give new life to the Moto2 project of the team from Tavullia and to the nursery of young motorcycling talents. A 100% Made in Italy reality is born to aim high in the intermediate category of the Championship already from this season and for the future.

On the one hand, the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, among the reference teams in Moto2, in the person of Alessio Salucci, Team Director of the structure, and on the other hand Mariano Roman, CEO of Fantic, a Veneto-based company producing cycles and motorcycles, working to develop a range of road bikes with racing and passion for engines in their DNA.

An important partnership, which will make its debut on the track as early as the next race GP scheduled for Silverstone. The Fantic brand, in fact, will be present on the motorcycles of Celestino Vietti Ramus and Niccolò Antonelli.

So a solid synergy is at the start to lay the foundations for a future with ambitious goals in 2023. Claudio Giovanardi, Head of Fantic’s Racing Division will entrust the new team to Stefano Bedon, Team Manager, while Milena Koerner, will manage the technical part that will entirely absorb the current structure of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team.

The agreement between the two companies will also contemplate active support in the VR46 Riders Academy project to support young motorcycling talents on their path of growth to the premier class.
