Virtus Bologna doesn’t stop: a familiar face returns

A familiar face returns at the disposal of Sergio Scariolo

Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna S.p.A. has announced that Gora Camara will return from his loan to Pesaro and will be part of the roster for the 2022/23 season.

A 214cm center, Gora was born in Dakar, Senegal, on April 12, 2001. Raised, since the 2017/18 season, right in Virtus’ youth sector, he made his first team debut in 2019, in Ljubljana, during the Basketball Champions League won by Segafredo.

His definitive consecration at the international level came in December 2018 when, with the bianconeri, he took part in the Valencia leg of the Adidas Next Gen Tournament, Euroleague Basketball’s youth competition, earning the final, a place in the ideal quintet and also the title of MVP of the review closed with an average of 12.3 points, 15.5 rebounds and 24 rating. From 2019 to 2021 he wore the jersey of Casale Monferrato before playing with Pesaro the season that just ended.
