Roma makes room for Georginio Wijnaldum
Veretout close to farewell
Roma is preparing to welcome Georginio Wijnaldum, from Paris Saint-Germain: yet another blow in a great market, which is making Giallorossi fans dream.
Making way for the Dutchman will be Frenchman Jordan Veretout, in the capital since 2019 but in Italy since 2017, when he was bought by Fiorentina.
The former Fiorentina player, much in decline last season, is reportedly ready to say goodbye to Roma to return to Ligue 1.
In fact, Marseille has made a move for the transalpine midfielder, convincing the management of the Giallorossi club with an offer to buy him outright for a sum that would be around €15 million.
