Three wins in the first seven races

He won three of the first seven races, then struggled a bit. After a long summer break, Enea Bastianini was eager to get back on track, and his eighth time in Silverstone free practice left the Team Gresini Ducati rider with good feelings.

These are his statements, “Getting back in the saddle was a great emotion today, I had a great desire and as a first day I can’t complain. The first session was really to get the rust off, then overall we did very well, especially with the time attack in the afternoon.”

“There is still a lot to work on, but the base from which we restarted is already better than how we ended the first part of the season – added Bastianini -. The new aerodynamic solution then would seem to give a hand in braking, although we have to analyze the data well before drawing conclusions.”
