F1, Daniel Ricciardo happy to take a break: ‘Friends and beer’
To date, the Australian’s season is decidedly negative
Ricciardo hoped to be big in this F1 season but, to date, he has never managed to make his mark. The McLaren driver, after the disappointing Hungarian Grand Prix, was clear: “I am happy that there is a break. It has not been the six months I wanted,” his words reported by the media grandprix247.
The Australian knows how to unplug during this summer break: “I’ll go out, be with friends, have a few beers and have fun. Then there will come a point where I’ll feel a little guilty and say, ‘Okay, it’s time to come back’….” Ricciardo is also at the center of several driver market issues but, at the moment, he has only the summer break on his mind to recharge his batteries as best he can.
