NBA, LeBron James talks to Lakers about his renewal
LBJ’s contract expires at the end of next season
LeBron James’ future holds sway in the NBA world. LBJ has an expiring contract with the Los Angeles Lakers at the end of the current season. His intention is to continue playing but, at the moment, it is not known whether in the yellow-viola or elsewhere.
As reported by ESPN, there was reportedly a meeting between the parties involved. A constructive face-to-face but with no final agreement. Should he decide to sign the two-year extension with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James would collect a whopping $97 million ($47 in the 2023/24 season and $50 in the following one). The All Star’s dream is to end his career playing with his son Bronny, who could be chosen at the 2024 NBA Draft.
