Vietti limits damage at Silverstone
Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider Celestino Vietti spoke at the end of qualifying at Silverstone, in which the 2001-class rider suffered a crash in Q2, but still managed to hit fifth on the grid ahead of the Gp.
“Too bad about the crash because the feeling on the bike is getting better and better. I could have been more patient, taken it easier and waited one more lap before attempting another lap. Let’s not give up, we are fifth and can have a good race. Everything will depend on the management of the long lap: only after the penalty, we will be able to understand what the race will be for us,” explained the Piedmontese centaur.
