Swimming, Sky’s European Championships

Rome is set to host the European Men’s and Women’s Swimming, Artistic Swimming and Diving Championships, scheduled at the Foro Italico swimming pools from Thursday, Aug. 11 to Sunday, Aug. 21, fully live on Sky and streaming on NOW.

The “LEN European Aquatics Championships 2022,” which returns to the Italian capital after the 1983 edition, will feature 1,500 athletes from 50 Old Continent nations for 77 competitions that will put 231 medals up for grabs.

Sky Sport will report on the major European event with studios and live commentary from Rome. Extensive coverage, from the morning and throughout the days of competition, told by Sky’s “swimming team,” which will be able to count on the expertise and experience of Cristina Chiuso, Costanza Fiorentini, Tommaso Rinaldi and Francesca Dallapè, who will be entrusted with the technical commentary.

The pool at the Foro Italico will be the backdrop for the “Estate Azzurra: European Swimming Championships” studio scheduled for the pre and post competitions of the various disciplines.
