Andrea Petagna-Monza, the marriage is official
More reinforcement for the Brianzos
On the eve of the first league game, another reinforcement arrives for Monza, newly promoted to Serie A: it is Andrea Petagna, a 1995-class striker, who arrives from Napoli on a temporary basis.
Announcing the deal’s officiality was the Brianza club itself, which specified how the transfer could become definitive at the end of the season – thus entailing the obligation of redemption by Monza – “upon the occurrence of certain conditions.”
“After the last championship finished third with the Azzurri thanks also to his contribution in attack, Petagna now arrives at Monza, finding Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani again after his years at AC Milan,” reads the welcome note published by the biancorossa club.
