Jannik Sinner, Montreal is already behind us: clear words from him
After the tough defeat, the new goals are already clear.
Jannik Sinner gave himself a few hours to digest the heavy knockout at the Montreal Masters 1000, where Pablo Carreño Busta easily defeated him in the round of 16 finishing 6-2, 6-4. And after his first very harsh words to himself, with the match just over, the Italian returned to talk on Instagram. Showing that the disappointment is still not gone, but pride and desire for redemption are back at the highest level.
“Yesterday was tough for me because I could not deliver the performance I wanted. But here is a lesson to take home and learn from. And now straight to Cincinnati,” Sinner indeed wrote on his official social profile.
The reference is to the Cincinnati Masters 1000, where Sinner will start as the No. 10 seed and come in as one of the must-win favorites to take home the tournament.
