RNF team principal Razali on Dovizioso’s stop: “We seem to be a team for retired MotoGP riders.”

RNF WithU team boss Razlan Razali in an interview with Crash.net does not mince words when describing the Malaysian team’s last two difficult seasons, struggling with both Valentino Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso. “Dovizioso’s retirement, after Valentino’s, has created the perception that we are a team for retired MotoGP riders!”

On the Forlivese’s stop: “We could clearly see the frustration and disappointment on his face, we are not surprised, we saw it coming. Many times I was involved in meetings with Dovi, with the Japanese, with Yamaha, with him trying to improve, trying to do better, but he was not happy.”

Replacing Dovizioso is incoming Cal Crutchlow: “We are very happy that Yamaha convinced Cal to ride all six races. I sent a message to Cal, he told me he is in good shape and has done more testing than last year.”
