Buses leave Intersiders stranded: no Lecce

There will be no members of the Curva Nord in Lecce for Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan debut.

The season has not started in the best of ways for the fans of the Curva Nord: in a statement posted on Facebook, the Inter ultras explained that they will not be at the Via del Mare to support Simone Inzaghi’s team in its Serie A debut against Lecce due to a logistical problem, namely the breakdown of both available buses.

“The Curva Nord announces that, with great regret, it will not be able to be officially present tonight at the league opener in Lecce. Two of the buses that left last night from Milan broke down on the way, and the neroazzurra caravan (given also the complicated time of year) has not found viable emergency solutions. We are sure that all the other Interisti who arrived in Salento will still be able to give that extra push needed by the team.”
