F1, Ferrari: Felipe Massa bluntly on Charles Leclerc and Mattia Binotto
Felipe Massa’s sentence
Felipe Massa, who spoke to ‘Sky Sports Uk’ to talk about the situation of F1 and Ferrari this season, did not hide when talking about Charles Leclerc and the Red team’s front office, with particular reference to team principal Mattia Binotto.
“It is clear that Charles is not happy at all,” said the former Ferrari driver, “but he has to be patient. If he starts to get nervous, it doesn’t help the team or himself. Let’s not forget that in France he made the mistake, he lost the chance to win the race and gain several points.”
On Binotto, Massa instead sentenced, “He is competent, and he is also a good person. But, at the end of the day, the results are not coming. There are so many mistakes since the beginning of the season, we need to change the register. He is the one who has to help change things, or he risks paying the consequences.”
