All friends in MotoGp: the reaction of Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaró
The two MotoGp centaurs Quartararo and Espargaró commented on insiders’ criticism: “We often find ourselves at home”
A MotoGp without controversy and without marked rivalries: this is one of the main criticisms levelled at the World Championship by several insiders, including Jorge Lorenzo himself, who pointed out that the days of him, Casey Stoner, Valentino Rossi and Max Biaggi are far behind him.
Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaró, the two riders in first and second place in the world championship standings, responded to these remarks at a press conference in Austria: “Aleix and I respect each other, but we all want to win, we all have the same goal, but that doesn’t change things. Beyond racing, our friendship does not change,” Quartararo explained.
“Maybe you journalists don’t understand why we can both fight on the track and be good friends. We can respect each other even if we are rivals on the track. Quartararo is a very good guy and he often visits me at home. But what happens on the track stays on the track,” so Espargaró.
