F1, Max Verstappen’s fans mocked: surprise announcement
The organization of the Belgian Grand Prix decided to play it safe in view of Verstappen’s invasion of Dutch fans
To avoid a repetition of situations such as the Austrian Grand Prix, when at the Red Bull Ring the behavior of thousands of fans (especially Verstappen fans) provoked the reaction of some teams and drivers (including Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton), the organizers of the Belgian Grand Prix have decided to play it forward and have established a series of bans that will not please the many supporters of Max Verstappen arriving from Holland.
The communiqué from the Spa-Francorchamps race organizers is clear: glass, smoke bombs, flares, weapons, alcohol, bicycles, pets, barbecue equipment and drones are banned. Violators, spotted by security cameras, will be ejected from the circuit and fined. No orange haze this year at Spa.
