Simeone arrives on loan with option to redeem

New reinforcement in the offensive sector for Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli. Indeed, Giovanni Simeone, a 1995-born striker, son of Atletico Madrid coach (and former Pisa, Lazio and Inter Milan player, among others) Diego, arrives from Hellas Verona.

“SSC Napoli,” reads the club’s official note, “announces that it has acquired from Hellas Verona the sporting services of Giovanni Pablo Simeone Baldini on a loan basis with an option to buy him back.

For the ‘Cholito,’ that of Napoli will be the fifth different jersey worn in Italy: in addition to Hellas Verona, in fact, he played two years for Genoa, Fiorentina and Cagliari.
