Filippo Tortu is not satisfied with the bronze medal he won in the 200-meter final at the European Championships in Munich.
“Finished the race I am a little angry about the color of the medal, tomorrow I will be happier,” he revealed to the microphones of Rai Sport.
“I had a good race and simply the others seemed to have more. I was hoping for something else, I wanted gold, right now the bronze is a bit tight for me but when you reach the podium in these important events you have to be happy. I am proud of all the work done this year. This bronze medal leaves me happy but it already makes me think about the Europeans in Rome where I will want to win.”
