Clamorous hoax for Borussia Dortmund
What happened at the Westfalenstadion was unbelievable: Borussia Dortmund, ahead 2-0 until the 89th minute, was caught up by Werder Bremen, who eventually won 3-2. Now the yellow-and-whites are in sixth place in the standings.
Opening the scoring was Julian Brandt, who in the dying minutes of the first half unlocked the match. The doubling came in the 77th minute through Raphael Guerreiro. The yellow-and-whites seemed in total control of the match but Lee Buchanan shortened the gap in the 89th minute. In the first few minutes of recovery came Niklas Schmidt’s equalizer, and in the 95th minute Werder Bremen dropped the trio thanks to Oliver Burke’s winning goal.
