Despite the defeat, excellent feelings left by our national team.

After the defeat accrued on the parquet in Hamburg against a very strong Serbia, Gianmarco Pozzecco uses the carrot to spur the Azzurro group to move forward on this path.

“The thing that counts for me is how the guys take the court and how they live the game emotionally,” the coach said after the defeat. “We were intense and that’s the only thing that has absolute value. I want to see players who are able to express their skills and to do that they have to have peace of mind, awareness, confidence and trust. The same applies at the team level: it’s the basis of my work.”

“Let’s go our own way, aware that the attitude we had against a team as difficult to manage as Serbia is the right one, even counting fatigue. Overall, I am happy. We hope to get Gallinari back quickly and some other players who are still a bit behind. We have a great staff and we all need to keep working together.”
