MotoGp, sensational turn for Marc and Alex Marquez

The divorce between the Marquez brothers and their longtime manager Emilio Alzamora is sensational. The news, reported by El Periodico de Catalunya, represents a real turning point: Alex and Marc had been linked to Alzamora for more than 15 years.

The former 125 cc world champion did not attend the Silverstone Grand Prix (Aug. 7) and is also absent from the current one in Austria. According to Sport.es, the main reason for the divorce is related to image issues: Marc Marquez is convinced that his character, at the level of communication and marketing, can improve a lot and be even more impactful. The rider’s vision, however, seems to have disagreed with Emilio Alzamora.

Marc has not yet commented on the issue; he is focused on recovery from injury: “Everything is going well now. We are going slowly but surely, in the right direction. This recovery is crucial. I feel good, I have an arm that has had four surgeries, but now it is starting to function normally.”

“I would like to run at least one more race in this World Championship, I don’t know if I can run one or more races, next week I will take stock together with the doctors with a CT scan, and then we will decide together. Of course, I will also start working towards the 2023 season,” he told a press conference.
