The 4×100 quartet struck a fine medal at the European Athletics Championships
Azzurre Zaynab Dosso, Dalia Kaddari, Anna Bongiorni and Alessia Pavese struck a resounding bronze medal in the women’s 4×100 relay on the final day of the European Athletics Championships. The Azzurre with a time of 42.84 were inferior only to Germany and Poland.
After the race at Rai microphones Dalia Kaddari rejoiced, “I am too happy, I wanted a medal and I believed in it with the girls. The group is very close-knit.” Also happy Alessia Pavese: “I am excited, we were charged, I gave everything I could and we took the bronze.”
“We put our hearts into it and 110 percent. It was not easy, however, the important thing is the unity of the team,” remarked Zaynab Dosso.
