The second day of Serie A ended Monday night with a disappointing scoreless draw between Sampdoria and Juventus.
A match with few scoring chances was staged at Marassi.
The hosts hit a crossbar after just a few minutes through Leris while the Bianconeri only actually made themselves dangerous in the second half when a goal by Rabiot was disallowed by Var for offside.
Inter, Napoli and Roma thus remain the only teams at the top of the standings with full points.
