Nets all-star’s future still shrouded in mystery

According to The Athletic, there would be a new franchise on the trail of Durant, who has long made it known that he would not like to continue his adventure in a Nets jersey. The Grizzlies are reportedly considering bringing KD home to try for the title.

To do so, the franchise would be willing to overhaul the entire roster (last year 56 wins) and put a lot of youngsters with bright futures on the plate, as well as several future first-round picks. The idea would be to pair Durant with Morant, so as to have a combo capable of fighting for the NBA title. Whether the Nets will be willing to accept the eventual proposal and figuring out which players will be sacrificed by the Grizzlies remains to be seen.
