Roma comebacks Juve: Dybala decisive, golden point for Mourinho
Juve’s match against Roma ends in a draw: Dybala comes up with an acrobatic assist for Abraham’s equalizer
Juventus-Roma, the big match of the third day of the Serie A championship, ends 1-1. Vlahovic’s goal in the first minutes on a free kick was answered in the second half by Abraham, triggered by a magical assist from Dybala. In the standings Roma at 7 points, Juve at 5.
First half of the Bianconeri brand, Vlahovic unlocks it immediately with a great free kick from the edge of the area in the 2nd minute. The Giallorossi frozen by the cold goal go into confusion and Allegri’s team comes close to doubling the score several times. In the 25th minute they even found it with Locatelli, but the goal was disallowed due to an earlier hand touch by Vlahovic seen by Var. The Torinese scare Rui Patricio again on a spot kick before halftime.
In the second half, Allegri loses Rabiot to injury, Zakaria in, and Roma gains ground and finds the equalizer in the 68th minute. On the development of a corner, Dybala with a splendid half-reverse puts the ball back into the center for Abraham who header beats Szczesny. Allegri reacts and changes by inserting Milik (on debut) for Vlahovic and McKennie for Miretti, while Mourinho removes Dybala to add a defender. Nothing more changes, Roma leaves Turin with a valuable point.
