F1, Red Bull: Jos Verstappen positive for Covid
Max Verstappen’s father will not be able to attend the Dutch GP
Jos Verstappen will not be able to follow his son Max Verstappen live at his home Grand Prix in Zandvoort, Netherlands, due to being positive for Coronavirus. This was announced by the 50-year-old former driver himself in an interview with De Telegraaf: “I feel fine but of course I stayed home because I don’t want to endanger Max. We don’t want him to get sick.”
Red Bull and Verstappen will enjoy a big cheer in Zandvoort but will face a more challenging weekend than at Spa: “There have been some changes to the regulations after the summer break and maybe other teams are more worried than us, but it won’t be as easy as it was last time at Spa.”
