F1, Lewis Hamilton bitter: “He got in my way.”
In qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton finished fourth: “I’m satisfied, I felt the car alive during this weekend. I hope I can fight with the three guys in front of me, that would be an amazing experience.”
The Mercedes champion narrowed the gap between Red Bull and Ferrari: “Being only a tenth behind Red Bull during this weekend gave me hopes of fighting for the front row, but the yellow flag at the end put a spoke in my wheel.”
Definitely less satisfied George Russell, who will start sixth: I don’t know what happened, the lack of performance in Q2 penalized me in Q3 because I used an extra set of tires. Then with the yellow flag I couldn’t complete my last attempt, it was a little frustrating. It’s not a terrible starting point. The first corner and the first few laps will be crucial, but I don’t understand why we couldn’t fight for the podium.”
