It takes one more set than usual, but a new victory comes.
Italy still winning at the men’s volleyball World Cup, where the Azzurri beat Cuba to center the quarterfinals of the competition. The tense and closely fought match ended 3-1 (25-21; 21-25; 26-24; 25-18).
This was the first time Italy lost a set since the start of the World Cup, without affecting the victory or even the passage of the round. However, the Azzurri needed more than two hours to bend the resistance of their opponents, especially the inspired Herrera.
