Dovizioso, farewell to MotoGp with message to Valentino Rossi
“Valentino Rossi and I leave in very good hands, Bastianini and Bagnaia are very strong guys.”
Andrea Dovizioso says goodbye to MotoGp, this time for good. After returning in mid-2021, came an early farewell in Misano: “I managed to be tense even at the last race and I was wondering why,” the Yamaha rider told Sky. “I started off quite well, at the beginning I can never exploit the bike but I was consistent, I didn’t want to get overtaken: I pushed until the end.
“The last lap exciting, I thought I would experience it more normally. Until the finish you are so much inside that you don’t realize it, the last corners I enjoyed them: it was good.”
Up front, Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini put on a show: “Valentino Rossi and I leave in very good hands, they are very strong guys.”
