Verstappen also reaffirms his superiority at Zandvoort

In front of a blaze of orange colors, Max Verstappen won the Dutch Grand Prix, reaffirming his current superiority in Formula 1.

At the end of an eventful Grand Prix, marked by several safety cars, the Red Bull driver, who started from pole position, crossed the finish line ahead of George Russell, at the wheel of a reborn Mercedes, and Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari. For Verstappen it is the tenth victory in this World Championship.

Fourth place for Lewis Hamilton, then Sergio Perez, Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris. Only eighth was Carlos Sainz, drowned first by a blunder by the Ferrari pit crew who forgot a tire in the pits, then by an unsafe release penalty that cost him a 5-second penalty. The Cavallino’s other wake-up call concerns Mercedes, which has now caught up with and in some respects surpassed the Rossa di Maranello.
